April week 1 & 2

Hello Everyone,

Spring has arrived, the weather is getting warmer and the cherry blossom is slowly disappearing.

E-Friends activity classes have been fun over the last 2 weeks.  At Matsushima and Oyano we made paper garlands.  Yugo kun at the Oyano class made an interesting paper garland. On each piece of paper he drew a sports ball, it went like this,  soccer ball, baseball, bowling ball, tennis ball, basket ball, golf ball, volley ball, the last one was the funniest I thought, he drew a rice ball (Onigiri).  Down in Ryugatake we made paper plane mobiles the kids enjoyed it and made some really nice designs.

In March we said goodbye to many of the children at the nursery schools who were leaving to go to school.  In April we said hello to some of the new children we will teach.  At Mitsuru Nursery we met the new kids, the good thing is they are just as lively as the kids last year and are eager to have fun.

Also at Mitsuru nursery I had another good lesson with Aoi and Nonoka chan at mummy and baby class.  They both did great and I look forward to using some new games with them soon.

Lastly, good news to report.  Early in march we planted some pumpkin seeds that we kept from Last years Halloween party. well the good news is on the 11th of April the first leaves sprouted from the soil, so “Peter Pumpkin II” was born.

Will post shortly
